旧约--以赛亚书(isaiah)--第 26 章26:1当那日在犹大地人必唱这歌，说，我们有坚固的城。耶和华要将救恩定为城墙，为外郭。in that day shall this song be sung in the land of judah; we have a strong city; salvation will god appoint for walls and bulwarks.26:2敝开城门，使守信的义民得以进入。open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.26:3坚心倚赖你的，你必保守他十分平安，因为他倚靠你。thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.26:4你们当倚靠耶和华直到永远。因为耶和华是永久的磐石。trust ye in the lord for ever: for in the lord jehovah is everlasting strength:26:5他使住高处的，与高城一并败落，将城拆毁，拆平直到尘埃。for he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.26:6要被脚践踏，就是被困苦人的脚，和穷乏人的脚践踏。the foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.26:7义人的道，是正直的，你为正直的主，必修平义人的路。the way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.26:8耶和华阿，我们在你行审判的路上等候你。我们心里所羡慕的是你的名，就是你那可记念的名。yea, in the way of thy judgments, o lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.26:9夜间我心中羡慕你。我里面的灵切切寻求你。因为你在世上行审判的时候，地上的居民就学习公义。with my soul have i desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will i seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.26:10以恩惠待恶人，他仍不学习公义。在正直的地上，他必行事不义，也不注意耶和华的威严。let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the lord.26:11耶和华阿，你的手高举，他们仍然不看。却要看你为百姓发的热心，因而抱愧。并且有火烧灭你的敌人。lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.26:12耶和华阿，你必派定我们得平安。因为我们所作的事，都是你给我们成就的。lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.26:13耶和华我们的神阿，在你以外曾有别的主管辖我们，但我们专要倚靠你，题你的名。o lord our god, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.26:14他们死了，必不能再活。他们去世，必不能再起。因为你刑罚他们，他们的名号就全然消灭。they are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.26:15耶和华阿，你增添国民，你增添国民。你得了荣耀，又扩张地的四境。thou hast increased the nation, o lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
26:16耶和华阿，他们在急难中寻求你。你的惩罚临到他们身上，他们就倾心吐胆祷告你。lord, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.26:17妇人怀孕，临产疼痛，在痛苦之中喊叫，耶和华阿，我们在你面前，也是如此。like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, o lord.26:18我们也曾怀孕疼痛，所产的竟像风一样，我们在地上未曾行什么拯救的事。世上的居民也未曾败落。we have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.26:19死人（原文作你的死人）要复活。尸首（原文作我的尸首）要兴起。睡在尘埃的阿，要醒起唱歌。因你的甘露好像菜蔬上的甘露，地也要交出死人来。thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.26:20我的百姓阿，你们要来进入内室，关上门，隐藏片时，等到忿怒过去。come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.26:21因为耶和华从他的居民所出来，要刑罚地上居民的罪孽。地也必露出其中的血，不再掩盖被杀的人。for, behold, the lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
