旧约--阿摩司书(amos)--第 2 章2:1耶和华如此说，摩押三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她将以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。thus saith the lord; for three transgressions of moab, and for four, i will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of edom into lime:2:2我却要降火在摩押，烧灭加略的宫殿。摩押必在哄囔呐喊吹角之中死亡。but i will send a fire upon moab, and it shall devour the palaces of kirioth: and moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:2:3我必剪除摩押中的审判者，将其中的一切首领，和他一同杀戮。这是耶和华说的。and i will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the lord.2:4耶和华如此说，犹大人三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去他们的刑罚。因为他们厌弃耶和华的训诲，不遵守他的律例。他们列祖所随从虚假的，使他们走迷了。thus saith the lord; for three transgressions of judah, and for four, i will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:2:5我却要降火在犹大，烧灭耶路撒冷的宫殿。but i will send a fire upon judah, and it shall devour the palaces of jerusalem.2:6耶和华如此说，以色列人三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去他们的刑罚。因他们为银子卖了义人，为一双鞋卖了穷人。thus saith the lord; for three transgressions of israel, and for four, i will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;2:7他们见穷人头上所蒙的灰也都垂涎。阻碍谦卑人的道路。父子同一个女子行淫，亵渎我的圣名。that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:2:8他们在各坛旁，铺人所当的衣服，卧在其上。又在他们神的庙中，喝受罚之人的酒。and they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.2:9我从以色列人面前除灭亚摩利人。他虽高大如香，坚固如橡树，我却上灭他的果子，下绝他的根本。yet destroyed i the amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet i destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.2:10我也将你们从埃及地领上来，在旷野引导你们四十年，使你们得亚摩利人之地为业。also i brought you up from the land of egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the amorite.2:11我从你们子弟中兴起先知，又从你们少年人中兴起拿细耳人。以色列人哪，不是这样吗。这是耶和华说的。and i raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for nazarites. is it not even thus, o ye children of israel? saith the lord.2:12你们却给拿细耳人酒喝，嘱咐先知说，不要说预言。but ye gave the nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, prophesy not.2:13看哪，在你们所住之地，我必压你们，如同装满禾捆的车压物一样。behold, i am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.2:14快跑的不能逃脱，有力的不能用力，刚勇的也不能自救。therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:2:15拿弓的不能站立，腿快的不能逃脱。骑马的也不能自救。neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.2:16到那日，勇士中最有胆量的，必赤身逃跑。这是耶和华说的。and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the lord.
