10:5他们必如勇士，在阵上将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在。骑马的也必羞愧。and they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.10:6我要坚固犹大家，拯救约瑟家，要领他们归回。我要怜恤他们，他们必像未曾弃绝的一样。都因我是耶和华他们的神，我必应允他们的祷告。and i will strengthen the house of judah, and i will save the house of joseph, and i will bring them again to place them; for i have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though i had not cast them off: for i am the lord their god, and will hear them.10:7以法莲人必如勇士，他们心中畅快如同喝酒。他们的儿女必看见而快活。他们的心必因耶和华喜乐。and they of ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the lord.10:8我要发嘶声，聚集他们。因我已经救赎他们。他们的人数必加增，如从前加增一样。i will hiss for them, and gather them; for i have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.10:9我虽然（或作必）播散他们在列国中，他们必在远方记念我。他们与儿女都必存活，且得归回。and i will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.10:10我必再领他们出埃及地，招聚他们出亚述，领他们到基列和黎巴嫩，这地尚且不够他们居住。i will bring them again also out of the land of egypt, and gather them out of assyria; and i will bring them into the land of gilead and lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.10:11耶和华必经过苦海，击打海浪，使尼罗河的深处都枯乾。亚述的骄傲必致卑微。埃及的权柄必然灭没。and he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of egypt shall depart away.10:12我必使他们倚靠我，得以坚固。一举一动必奉我的名。这是耶和华说的。and i will strengthen them in the lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the lord.
