旧约--箴言(proverbs)--第 7 章7:1我儿，你要遵守我的言语，将我的命令存记在心。my son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.7:2遵守我的命令，就得存活。保守我的法则，（或作指教）好像保守眼中的瞳人。keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.7:3系在你指头上，刻在你心版上。bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.7:4对智慧说，你是我的姊妹。称呼聪明为你的亲人。say unto wisdom, thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:7:5他就保你远离淫妇，远离说谄媚话的外女。that they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.7:6我曾在我房屋的窗户内，从我窗棂之间，往外观看。for at the window of my house i looked through my casement,7:7见愚昧人内，少年人中，分明有一个无知的少年人，and beheld among the simple ones, i discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,7:8从街上经过，走近淫妇的巷口，直往通他家的路去，passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,7:9在黄昏，或晚上，或半夜，或黑暗之中，in the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:7:10看哪，有一个妇人来迎接他，是妓女的打扮，有诡诈的心思。and, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.7:11这妇人喧囔不守约束，在家里停不住脚。(she is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:7:12有时在街市上，有时在宽阔处，或在各巷口蹲伏。now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)7:13拉住那少年人，与他亲嘴，脸无羞耻对他说，so she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,7:14平安祭在我这里。今日才还了我所许的愿。i have peace offerings with me; this day have i payed my vows.7:15因此，我出来迎接你，恳求见你的面，恰巧遇见了你。therefore came i forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and i have found thee.7:16我以经用绣花毯子，和埃及线织的花纹布，铺了我的床。i have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of egypt.7:17我又用没药，沉香，桂皮，薰了我的榻。i have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.7:18你来，我们可以饱享爱情，直到早晨。我们可以彼此亲爱欢乐。come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.7:19因为我丈夫不在家，出门行远路。for the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:7:20他手拿银囊。必到月望才回家。he hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.7:21淫妇用许多巧言诱他随从，用谄媚的嘴逼他同行。with her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.7:22少年人立刻跟随他，好像牛往宰杀之地，又像愚昧人带锁链，去受刑罚。he goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;7:23直等箭穿他的肝，如同雀鸟急入网罗，却不知是自丧己命。till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.7:24众子阿，现在要听从我，留心听我口中的话。hearken unto me now therefore, o ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.7:25你的心，不可偏向淫妇的道。不要入他的迷途。let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.7:26因为被他伤害仆倒的不少。被他杀戳的而且甚多。for she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.7:27他的家是在阴间之路，下到死亡之宫。her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
