旧约--耶利米哀歌(lamentations)--第 3 章3:1我是因耶和华忿怒的杖，遭遇困苦的人。i am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.3:2他引导我，使我行在黑暗中，不行在光明里。he hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.3:3他真是终日再三反手攻击我。surely against me is he turned; he turcomh his hand against me all the day.3:4他使我的皮肉枯乾。他折断（或作压伤）我的骨头。my flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.3:5他筑垒攻击我，用苦楚（原文作苦胆）和艰难围困我。he hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.3:6他使我住在幽暗之处，像死了许久的人一样。he hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.3:7他用篱笆围住我，使我不能出去。他使我的铜链沉重。he hath hedged me about, that i cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.3:8我哀号求救。他使我的祷告不得上达。also when i cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.3:9他用凿过的石头挡住我的道。他使我的路弯曲。he hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.3:10他向我如熊埋伏，如在隐密处。he was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.3:11他使我转离正路，将我撕碎，使我凄凉。he hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.3:12他张弓将我当作箭靶子。he hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.3:13他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。he hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.3:14我成了众民的笑话。他们终日以我为歌曲。i was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.3:15他用苦楚充满我，使我饱用茵？？。he hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.3:16他又用沙石碜断我的牙，用灰尘将我蒙蔽。he hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.3:17你使我远离平安，我忘记好处。and thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: i forgat prosperity.3:18我就说，我的力量衰败。我在耶和华那里毫无指望。and i said, my strength and my hope is perished from the lord:3:19耶和华阿，求你记念我如茵？？和苦胆的困苦窘迫。remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.3:20我心想念这些，就在里面忧闷。my soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.3:21我想起这事，心里就有指望。this i recall to my mind, therefore have i hope.3:22我们不致消灭，是出于耶和华诸般的慈爱。是因他的怜悯不致断绝。it is of the lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.3:23每早晨，这都是新的。你的诚实极其广大。they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.3:24我心里说，耶和华是我的分，因此，我要仰望他。the lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will i hope in him.3:25凡等候耶和华，心里寻求他的，耶和华必施恩给他。the lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.3:26人仰望耶和华，静默等候他的救恩，这原是好的。it is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the lord.3:27人在幼年负轭，这原是好的。it is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.3:28他当独坐无言，因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。he sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.3:29他当口贴尘埃，或者有指望。he putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.3:30他当由人打他的腮颊，要满受凌辱。he giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.3:31因为主必不永远丢弃人。for the lord will not cast off for ever:3:32主虽使人忧愁，还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。but though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.3:33因他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁。for he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.3:34人将世上被囚的踹（原文作压）在脚下，to crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,3:35或在至高者面前屈枉人，to turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most high,3:36或在人的讼事上颠倒是非，这都是主看不上的。to subvert a man in his cause, the lord approveth not.3:37除非主命定，谁能说成就成呢。who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the lord commandeth it not?3:38祸福不都出于至高者的口吗。out of the mouth of the most high proceedeth not evil and good?3:39活人因自己的罪受罚，为何发怨言呢。wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?3:40我们当深深考察自己的行为，再归向耶和华。let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the lord.3:41我们当诚心向天上的神举手祷告。let us lift up our heart with our hands unto god in the heavens.3:42我们犯罪背逆，你并不赦免。we have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.3:43你自被怒气遮蔽，追赶我们。你施行杀戮，并不顾惜。thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.3:44你以黑云遮蔽自己，以致祷告不得透入。thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.3:45你使我们在万民中成为污秽和渣滓。thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.3:46我们的仇敌都向我们大大张口。all our enemies have opened their mouths against us.3:47恐惧和陷坑，残害和毁灭，都临近我们。fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.3:48因我众民遭的毁灭，我就眼泪下流如河。mine eye runcomh down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.3:49我的眼多多流泪，总不止息，mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,3:50直等耶和华垂顾，从天观看。till the lord look down, and behold from heaven.3:51因我本城的众民，我的眼，使我的心伤痛。mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.3:52无故与我为仇的追逼我，像追雀鸟一样。mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.3:53他们使我的命在牢狱中断绝，并将一块石头抛在我身上。they have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.3:54众水流过我头，我说，我命断绝了。waters flowed over mine head; then i said, i am cut off.3:55耶和华阿，我从深牢中求告你的名。i called upon thy name, o lord, out of the low dungeon.3:56你曾听见我的声音。我求你解救，你不要掩耳不听。thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.3:57我求告你的日子，你临近我，说，不要惧怕。thou drewest near in the day that i called upon thee: thou saidst, fear not.3:58主阿，你伸明了我的冤。你救赎了我的命。o lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.3:59耶和华阿，你见了我受的委屈。求你为我伸冤。o lord, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.3:60他们仇恨我，谋害我，你都看见了。thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.3:61耶和华阿，你听见他们辱骂我的话，知道他们向我所设的计，thou hast heard their reproach, o lord, and all their imaginations against me;3:62并那些起来攻击我的人口中所说的话，以及终日向我所设的计谋。the lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.3:63求你观看，他们坐下，起来，都以我为歌曲。behold their sitting down, and their rising up; i am their musick.3:64耶和华阿，你要按着他们手所作的向他们施行报应。render unto them a recompence, o lord, according to the work of their hands.3:65你要使他们心里刚硬，使你的咒诅临到他们。give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.3:66你要发怒追赶他们，从耶和华的天下除灭他们。persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the lord.
